Spokane Valley, Washington is a growing community located within the Spokane MSA. The community needed a way to engage its citizens while growing both its business and tourism sectors. To do so, they sought an evolution of their brand and a comprehensive strategy with tactics for all three groups.

Atlas conducted extensive stakeholder research and developed a marketing strategy that identified ways the community could market itself to business development prospects and influencers, potential tourists, as well as generate buy-in and support from their residents. Ultimately, Atlas created brand positioning, elements, and a new logo that presents the city in a modern way while calling to mind its bountiful natural assets.

The City of Spokane Valley will begin roll-out of the new brand beginning with their economic development efforts. Together, we launched a new website in February 2017, and the team will continue to utilize the brand in economic development efforts as it begins roll-out to other city departments.
